About the Book
Unfading Rhapsodies is a poetic collection born in the still moments of everyday life—between teaching, writing, and reflection. Written in the spirit of deep awareness, each poem is both personal and universal, resonating with inner stillness and soulful insight.
Drawing from Romanticism and spiritual philosophy, the poet blends the sensitivity of Wordsworth, the grace of Tagore, and the philosophical grounding of Simone de Beauvoir. These poems journey through emotions such as ecstasy, serenity, nostalgia, and reverence, ultimately crafting a Zen-like path of expression—what Dr. Porselvi calls ZENNEY: from indulgence, through immanence, to transcendence.
A tribute to life’s beauty, Unfading Rhapsodies invites the reader to pause, breathe, and discover the poetic within the everyday.
She is also the author of two previous eco-poetry collections: Gaianjali (2023) and Kalpavriksham (2024). In all her work—academic or poetic—Dr. Porselvi finds her voice in nature, storytelling, and the quiet, enduring rhythms of life.
